Lemon Tree - Where to buy!?!?
Options
Hello again, I recently posted a topic about the best price for a lemon tree and a few people came back with Aldi - the only problem is unfortunately my Aldi does not have any
I am now looking for recommendations online, I have been looking and the one's I have found are either too small, won't deliver in time or are too expensive. Ideally I want a tree which isn't too small and will be fruiting now/later this year for under £20 - £25 at a push including p&p. Am I asking for too much!?
Thank You

In that case i really don't think you will get a sizeable one (with fruit) for that price. The cheapest i have found for a 'normal' tree in fruit is 28 pounds (not inc p and p)

You were looking for a lemon tree that would be fruiting later this year, so, presumably, you wanted lemons?
Not sure you'll get many of those from a couple of fig trees. Always worth a try though, I suppose!0 -
Wilkinsons sell small lemons for around £4, but it'll be a year or so before they have fruit. If you wait a year, Aldi will have them again (and there's a picture of mine on another thread).
Or, for the really slow approach, you can grow them from seed.:D 'Tis fun, though!

These are Aldi ones... I do have several grown from seed, and they are flowering wonderfully at the moment, at 2 years old.... might get some fruit...0 -
