TD Financial Services (The Premier Designs Credit Card)

Long story short, I was suckered into the mlm company, Premier Designs, when my lovely and wonderful aunt pressured me into it. When I signed up with the company I was encouraged to open an account, the "Premier Designs" credit card, which is serviced by TD Financial.

They.are.horrible. H-o-r-r-i-b-l-e. I have LITERALLY had nothing but problems with them since the account was opened last May. Their "24 Hour" service is only open until 8:00pm, their online bill pay is just terrible, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and I would never, not under any circumstances, advise anyone to open an account with them.

In the interest of doing our part to help the world around us, we opted out of receiving paper statements. We do most of our shopping online anyway so it's no different than any of our other bills. Because we don't get paper statements, they send me an email reminder of when our account is due each month. When I log onto their site, I can also see when my payment is due.

Both in the email they sent to me and online, it states that my bill is due on the 20th of each month. However, they charge me a late fee on the 15th of the month stating that the bill is actually due on the 15th.

When I disputed this charge (I payed my bill on the 19th), they told me that they would not credit the late fee because it was a "valid charge". That in the "terms and conditions", it states that my bill is due on the 15th. Well, when a company sends communication to you stating that your bill is due on the 20th, it changes the terms and conditions and charging a late fee before the stated due date is fraudulent.

Their customer service was rude to me when I tried to discuss the issue with them. I told them they would be hearing from a lawyer...and they have.

Like I said, I don't want anyone else to fall into the same trap that I have in selecting to get the Premier Designs cc. They're a horrible, no good company.
