passing the theory tesy

hi
I have just started to teach my wife to drive so i asked her to do a mock theory test.
i done one first and scored 48/50 not to bad i thought after all i have been driving for 30 years 25 of them as a pcv driver
my wife then took a mock test bearing in mind she has never sat a driving test and only just started to learn to drive she scored 40/50 ok its a fail but not bad for a complete novice.
Which begs the question do you think the test is to easy?
im not be-littleing the theory test but surely a complete novice should have a little more difficulty with this test.

just because you are paranoid doesnt mean to say they are not out to get you
