Haven't seen this problem, but try a couple of tests.

    1. Can you use the send option with other types of files, eg word docs?

    2. Can you try another way to send pics, eg open email first and then use the attach command, then locate/drill down to find the photo. does it work this way?

    thanks for your reply,
if i leave outlook closed, sort pictures into folders, click email photos, outlook opens new email they attach to email, fill in details press send window closes and they go into outbox becasue outlook isnt open, then i have to open office outlook and it will send from the outbox. once email is sent close outlook again to send next.
This is going to be a pain as i will have to do it every time i send one attachment, it stops if i try to do more than one mail at a time.
I can send from picasa but clients wont accept from them,
i can send from windows live but that is a hole new learning curve and i have or had everything set up to work with office outlook.
also ran office diagnostics that didnt find any thing.

Look at the post near the bottom of this page. Similar problem, fixed by deleting and adding back the accounts.
Backup any Outlook data you may want to keep first though. Deleting an account will probably delete the mailbox associated with it. With just a little fiddling around, you'll be able to put it back as it was though.

What are you actually trying to achieve here?

I've seen similar due to huge picture file size.

Have you tried running them through something like IrfanView or zipping them?
