They are totally doing my head in, bunch of incompetent monkeys. I have had the same conversation with them over and over again and they say they'll fix the problem and then dont:mad:
I'm giving them one last chance, if they fail to deliver is there somewhere higher I can take it? An ombudsman or such like?

Yes there is an ombudsman http://www.ombudsman-services.org/energy.html
If you post some more details of the problems you're having then I'm sure some of the regulars on here will be able to give you good advice on what to do next.0 -
Don't really want to post identifiable details on here, the problem is very easy to solve, they just need to action it.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

You only need to give them one chance in total. Then you have to raise a formal complaint strictly in accordance with their complaint's procedure, preferably in writing or by e-mail. If you remain disatisfied at "deadlock" or after 8 weeks, whichever occurs first, you are then entitled to ask the Energy Ombudsman to consider the complaint.0 -
It's been unresolved since September ish.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

If they're giving you the runaround for 6 months, it is time to submit a formal complaint and if that doesn't resolve it you can go to the ombudsman. Can't give more precise advice without knowing the nature of the problem. Maybe you don't like the colour of your electricity? Maybe they added an extra zero on your direct debit? Who knows?0

Now you mention it, my electricity is a funny colour...The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Thanks but it's already being dealt with apparently, I phoned yesterday. They have a week before I raise a formal complaint. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

What a strange thread!
How on earth did you all know what the OP was talking about?
Was it telepathy? :rotfl:

Not quite sure what's funny? I have a problem that hasn't been resolved and I want to know if there is a complaints procedure or ombudsman I can use. I don't feel the need to post specifics as I don't wish to be identifiable to Scottish power on here.
You don't need to know the ins and outs of the issue to be able to advise me on the complaints procedure. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
