Bangkok

I want to stop in Bangkok for a night or two to see the sights. Clean and central is all that's required. Any ideas please ?

I've stayed at the Krit Thai Mansion a few times very central and cheap. I think it was about £13 a night last time I was there 15 months ago.

BTW, You'll need air conditioning, we stayed at the Bel Aire Princess which was fine.

  • Pathwuan princess right next to the Huge MBK shopping centre cheapest place to buy your clothes the best hotel by far stayed there for a week 25 metre out door pool amazing buffet breakfast and a huge gym to use as well and you dont even have to go outside to get into the shopping centre as you have your own private door linking both i would highly recommend it

    I normally stay here

http://www.newsiam.net/ns/index.php at the New Siam II which is the nicest one of them.

A clean double air con room is about £13, has pool, good food and a no prostitute policy (so you don't have to watch them getting slobbered over by Westerners as you have a pool side drink ;) )

It really does the job and is within walking distance of the Grand Palace etc, which you would not doubt be going to see
