I have only a moblie dongel as internet at home now and wondered if there is any way that he could still use it to talk /play against his mates?

    The amount of data that online gaming uses would eat up your entire allowance pretty quickly. Mobile broadband is really not suitable for it!

    But if you really want to, you'll need a means of sharing the connection such as a router which supports plugging in a dongle.
