MS Word - Text w/o spaces and capital letters

Good morning folks!

I am having a small problem with some text that I have input into Word via dictation software (Dragon Naturally Speaking 11). Unfortunately, DNS11 does not like my sound card (according to DNS helpline) and this means that it takes dictated files and spits out the text minus caps, or entirely as caps and without full stops and the space between sentences.

I used to know a shortcut (perhaps using the F-keys) but cannot remember this.

Any suggestions to fix this, especially the space problem?

Here is an example of my text:

I can't think of any practical way to split a continuous stream of letters into discrete words with any degree of accuracy.

Sounds like (<groan!>) you may need to replace your sound card...

I cannot help much, but since it has got the words and has correctly spelled them I cannot see why they think it is a sound card problem, perhaps I am being naive

    Thanks guys.

I'm looking more for the shortcut that allows for the spaces to be inserted. There is a way - and I've used it before under the same circumstances. For instance, if you use SHIFT + F3 you can change the font to be caps, no caps or caps on the start of sentances after a full stop.

This far, the text is spelled correctly as I've spellchecked it (although there are aspects of the sentences that don't make sense as this is a problem of the DNS11 software vs my accent).

How could a keyboard shortcut be clever enough to split correctly a string of letters, adding a blank after each valid English word? You're talking about having an intelligent program with the correct language dictionary for lookup, at the least!

I'd have another go at Dragon, because (as Mr Mayhem says), it's already recognised the words correctly, just not correctly spaced them.
