Mr Pets - any good?

Hello
Sorry if this has been asked before (I did do a search but couldn't find any similar posts)...
I need to stock up on some flea treatement for my cats (and our house) and am thinking of purchasing stuff from Mr Pets as it's ridiculously expensive to buy the items from our vets.
Has anyone else used Mr Pets? Are they a reputable online retailer?
Thanks
FA

Not heard of them, I've use ChemistDirect and VetUK in the past for medication (prescription and non-prescription)

Having a look, I can't see prescription meds on Mr Pets - are you thinking of buying a generic flea product, e.g. Beaphar? Many of the over-the-counter products are no longer effective (fleas have built immunity) and some are actually known to have caused severe side effects. Stick to prescription stuff, but ask your vet if they will write a prescription to buy it online. Mine charge £6 to do it but they combine it for both my dogs and for both flea and worming products, and do several month's worth at a time - so I pay £6 but save far more than that on all of the products online.0 -

I have heard of MrPets but have never ordered from there.
You can view the seller reviews on Google:

I used them very recently and would highly recommend them

They were a fair bit cheaper than anywhere else online for the item I wanted to buy but unfortunately when it arrived it had a problem (manufacturing fault) so I emailed them and received a reply within a few hours.
They arranged for the manufacturer to send a replacement part which arrived very quickly, unfortunately that didn't resolve the problem so I emailed and again they responded in super quick time (I had a reply on a Sunday evening!) and offered me a refund or replacement. I wanted a replacement as it would have cost me more to buy the item online elsewhere so they sent out a replacement the same day and refunded me the amount of the postage for me to send the faulty one back to them.
The item came from Jersey (very quickly via Royal Mail) so guess that's how they can beat other companies prices. I am a long time VetUK customer and would recommend them too but I was so pleased with how Mr Pets dealt with my order I will definitely be using them again... if they are cheaper than VetUK

I used Mr Pets last year after someone posted about a good Frontline offer.
Had no problems & would use again if the price was right.0 -
I've used them via Amazon before - there was a muckup with my order (they sent the wrong size harness) - contacted them, they put the right size one in the post same day, refunded the postage plus enough of the actual payment to cover sending the wrong size one back and told me to just get the wrong one back to them whenever I could.
For putting an error right I was fairly impressed (cue the lot coming on saying they shouldn't have made an error in the first place).Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
I've used Mr Pets for the last couple of years for flea treatment and wormers for my three cats, well priced and reliable - fast delivery, never had any problems 0 -

Mr Pets do sell prescription medications which are listed on their website (mrpets.co.uk), they do however require that you send a prescription to them for validation which is understandable but they do send the prescription back to you with your order0
