I stand by my earlier post. Dispute in writing and quote the crime reference number. If not joy, go to the FOS.

Ironically, my life is complicated, yes.

Not through any of the issues you see here though, unfortunately.

I do, however, wish I had £11,000 in savings. The things I could do!

I post for various friends, who yes do have problems, like many of us. Indeed, some of my posts are even completely different scenarios but relating to the same case (multiple user names too!). That is because I don't like giving too many details out and I like to re-post the problems to get more input, without copying and pasting which would become annoying, also the fact that businesses are known to trawl these forums.

Keep digging, you might find more where you can put two and two together.
  • I think there will be no money back for this. All I can say is be very careful next time. Keep the information to your self.

Why would you post for "various friends" ? People on the forum are more than willing to help people with genuine problems, but only if they feel they're not having the p*ss taken. People who genuinely need help are usually prepared to give all the details needed, why wouldn't you give this information, how can we be expected to respond if you're being economical with the truth ?

I think you need to get some different friends and start being a grown up. And no, i don't believe you will ever see your money again. It's ludicrous that you say you are £20,000 down, how long have YOU let this go on for ?
