Interest rate taking me over credit limit each month

    Hi everyone thank you for your advice all very much appreciated.

    The default fee was for going over my limit when this is applied the interest rate is charged at a much higher rate at 26.4% (ouch) and by not paying it immediately (the notice is posted seperately to my statement) the interest accrued was taking me over my limit. The point I was trying to make was that my credit limit was reduced by £1000 close to within my balance without my input which took out any ceiling for any *ahem* mismanagement I previously had.

    But I realise that I am not managing it in my own best interests - thanks again for all your responses
