Halifax £100 query

I applied for the Halifax account £100 promo they were doing a couple of weeks ago just before I went on holiday. I have come back and it seems that it went through ok, but I have to go to a branch with ID to formally open the account. This must be done soon, and is quite a trek from where I live.
As I applied before the deadline, but only now will be 'formally' opening it will I get the £100? I have an account no and sort code, but no debit card has arrived.
