Peugeot 206 lx changing tape player

Hi,

Not sure if anyone will be able to answer this or not. !I have a Peugeot 206 Lx 2000 that currently has a radio tape player with driver remote. I am watching a radio cd player on ebay that was taken out of the same model and year of another peugeot. Does anyone know if this will swap straight out with no changes and if the drivers remote will still work.!

i dont know if the remote will work but i know it will need coding so does it come with the code?
if it does and its cheap you could always punt it on if it doesnt work by citing you lost your leg in the war etc etc and no longer suitable etc

the fixings should be the same, along with the remote as for lying about returning it to the seller that's something else

i didnt say return to sender
i wouldnt ever do that
the fixings are iso so thats not the worry too

Not sure on this but it might depend if your 206 is preplexed or multiplexed. I understand the earlier 206's were preplexed.

Should have gone for a 206 GLX with the 6-disc changer in the boot.

your original post said same year better spec
if it said 2001 thats multiplexed which in simple terms means the car ecu talks to the radio before you get that dreadful kris hevens on so wouldnt work and thats a bonus shurely:D
