Hi
Received a letter on Friday from Lloyds TSB offering total of £7999.56 from PPI the letter was 7 weeks into the 8 week period.
Does anyone know how long until payment is made the letter says I do not need to do anything if I accept and payment will be as a cheque as quickly as possible and as a priority.
Have read lots on internet of people waiting months.

I am just about to embark on the same thing. How did yo go about yours as i cannot seem to get to the sample letter on here. Did you also have all the necessary loan details to hand as i only have the loan amount and the dates i took them out as well as account numbers. Would i need to get more info besides this? This is an inspiration knowing it is possible to reclaim this when you are mis-sold PPI.0

I think it is pot-luck when you get paid. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. Some people are waiting months and then others who applied in January have been paid already. I think it is unfair.:(
Archerdre - I applied for PPI claims on 3 loans dating back to 2000. All I had was the account number and start dates. I am due to hear in the next week or so about the outcome. As soon as I find out I will post it on here.0
