Fitting carpet gripper !

Hi i would like to fit carpet gripper to a concrete floor, cant nail due to a shallow gas pipe ...... but want to use the correct stuff, not no nails stuff , any idea where i can obtain this and what the name is . as dont wanna do the job twice.

Quick set versionAlthough you can buy conctrete gripper that nails in, most fitters will oonly stick the occaisional bit of gripper where the sub floor is uneven, or won't take a nail.

paul did you read the op he can't nail due to a gas pipe !!!!

thanks for your help guys, seems a good site, many thanks .now just need to know whats the best carpet to go for? wool or man made ...... going in living room stairs hall and landing.
