Does anyone know whether an Acer Aspire charger is compatible with a Sony Vaio netbook? If so it would save me lugging one up the country on public transport tomorrow.

I would say not as I have both and they completely different plugs. Having said that I have several Vaios with different chargers and I have seen 3 or 4 different Acer chargers for different models.0
