Next steps in PPI claim...

Evening all,

I have done a credit search to get details of all my old agreements. (all my statements etc were destroyed in a fire).

I have settled loans or cards with:

Capital One
Egg (showing as 2 entries for some reason)
Hire Purch from Cit Group

Open cards with:

MBNA
Barclay Card

I obviously have details for my open a/c's, but none for the closed ones.

I had PPI with all bar the HP.

Any advice on the next steps? Given I don't have any a/c details or anything for the closed a/c's.

You can use the last 4 digits on the credit report for the closed ones, most do claims over the phone so it may be worth ringing them, they may find the info you need.

If any/all apply to you then make the claim.
The loans may have had the ppi put on at the beginning and you pay to term end with interest, this is front loaded ppi and this is a reason for mis sell.
