Switching to First Direct

Just a query, I have applied to switch to First Direct for two reasons, firstly their customer service is supposed to be excellent and secondly the £100 'reward'.
Although I have never held a First Direct account, I do hold two HSBC accounts. Given that First Direct are part of the HSBC group, will I be excluded??

We switched to First Direct, we managed to escape from Alliance & Leiester (Santander), and their customer service has been nothing short of excellent. I also have an HSBC account and it's not a problem.
