Sandwich Business From Home Advice

Hi,
Looking for some advice for my wife.

She is looking to run a small sandwich/buffet type service from home on a irregular basis. She has a client who wants food on various dates.

It will be a small type commitment run from home in the kitchen.

What does she need to do and what does she need to have to get this up and running.

I believe she needs to inform the local council, needs a hygiene certificate that sort of thing, is this correct?

Does she need any kind of insurance?

All information will be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.
