On ours you go back onto the site & press the my posts tab, you can then edit-delete it.
That's freecycle, I don't know if freegle is the same.0 -
Hi it is the same, but i cant see my post tab, on the left I see home, messeges, post, files and photos, when I go into the post bit it just takes me to start a new post.
I need to get in there quick lol as I am being inundated.0 -
I normally post a TAKEN: XYZ message and then ignore any subsequent emails.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Just read that bit in the FAQ, but they say not to do till its actually collected, but If that does happen I can always post it again.
I just want to stop the emails lol.0 -
You won't stop the emails I'm afraid as people will still have the original message in their inboxes. If you can't remove the post, post a new one saying it's taken & that you can't respond to emails individually. Then ignore them.0

Yep - I get the odd "I can collect tomorrow ring me on my mobile plz" for stuff I posted on there three years ago...
I tend to post a TAKEN: Blah blah blah - this item has now been promised - and keep a few of the least grabby emails as backups in case of a no-show. You'll still get a fair few greedy chancers who'll reply with "oh if they don't come can I get it instead" - but freecycle tends to bring out the grabbers in the world unfortunately.
Also very worth running a junk email account for freecycle/freegle - otherwise it can jam the snot outta your main inbox very very quickly! Any of the freebie email providers tends to work.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
I just put Taken subject to collection on Freegle, Feecycle doesn't seem to have that facility0
