My ten year old son originally got 4 (pink-winged) stick insects, cost about £2.00 each.

They have been laying eggs for months now.  He was supposed to keep a few eggs and discard the rest, otherwise we would be over-run with them.

I have recently discovered he'd kept loads of eggs, they have hatched, and the little del boy has been selling them to kids in school for £1 each!   :o

    Pink

I think Master Pink Winged deserves a prize for that,an excellent idea.

Also means you dont have to give him pocket money anymore so moneysaving for you too

I pay my 2 eldest kids for doing little jobs, like 50p for filling a box with unwanted toys, wiping the leather sofas, they are good at that ;D Also they like sweeping the front path but i have had to remove the broom on many occasions as there have been fights over who gets to use it!!! They are aged 4 and 7 ;D
They tidy the front foom free of charge, the incentive being i dont hoover their toys up and they get to watch telly!
