anyone have any experience of this company?

hi all

i'm currently looking to buy a car and stumbled across this company cars-salesltd their prices seem to good to be true, so i'm being sensible and cautious.

i've searched for reviews but i'm having no joy finding anything about the company. i've searched companies house, and noted they've been trading for quite some time now, however no phone contact details.

they require you to buy the car without seeing it, deliver within 5 days and offer a 3 day period to check the car out and request a refund if not satisfied

any ideas how i can find out if they are fully legitimate?

if i paid by credit card would i be protected?

anyone know how to get in touch with Quentin Wilson? lol

How are you supposed to request a refund if there are no phone contact details and you only get 3 days to check the car out?

I bet they do something like deliver it at 8PM on Friday and then to actually reject it within the time limit, you'd need to get a letter in the post, special delivery, on Saturday, assuming you can even find a post office that's open. Then the letter will arrive on Monday and be valid according to their terms.

Put simply, do not buy a car without seeing it in person and test driving it, only exception is if you're buying something special from outside the EU and are prepared to spend some money fixing it up if necessary.

Wouldn't even give that a second thought. Can't see who would use that service, it's a recipe for disaster.

i'd really love to hear what a pro says about this, so on a more serious note any ideas how to get in touch with quentin wilson?

does he still do any journalism?

if so any ideas which spread hes with now?

SCAM ALERT.

The car they are "selling" do not exist in thier stock. They are priced cheap to lure you in to buy. They will take your money and you will NOT get a car and you will NOT see your money again.

Moot point as these scammers only want a bank transfer to a mule bank account.

Whatever LTD company you checked out, it certainly isn't this site. These site has been registered for 5 days.
