Can anyone advise me please.Having logged a claim for recovery of ppi for five different loans and a loanguard cover on my royalties gold account on 27/12/11 and letters confirming the claim on 03/01/12 i have just received a letter today 03/03/12 from RBS Customer Concerns Team in Manchester asking me to fill in a ppi consumer questionaire form. When i logged the claim nearly ten weeks ago by phone i was advised that there was no point in filling out the questionaire that one could down load from the FOS and my claim would be just as quick. Can anyone advise me as to why they are asking me to fill it in now?I was advised by the rbs last week when chasing my claim that they have until the 21/03/12 to close my case.I am just concerned that they are hoping that i will be sending them the form back with the answers they are hoping for in order to not pay me out.Can anyone put me on the right track at this stage of my claim? The most important questions i need to answer correctly.
My ppi amounts are...loan 1. 25/04/03 to 11/08/03 ppi amount 917.00 loan amount..3700.00
loan 2. 11/08/03 to 27/05/04 ppi amount 1256.00 loan amount 5000.00
loan 3. 27/05/04 to 27/09/04 ppi amount 1646.00 loan amount 7000.00
loan 4. 27/09/04 to 24/11/05 ppi amount 2704.00 loan amount 10700.00
loan 5. 24/11/05 to 10/04/06 ppi amount 2943.00 loan amount 11500.00
As you can see these were consolodated loans.
i have had further loans continuing from 10/04/06 but without ppi. Is there any bright spark that can help a rather frustrated person out and give him the answers i am looking for and advise as so not to !!!! it up..any idea what i may be looking at getting back from them....regards steve.

Hi Steve,
Sounds like the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Did you explain to the Manchester team that you have already lodged a complaint for your loans and have been given a date of 21/03/12 for them to decide.
If you fill in and send off a questionnaire now, you will not only confuse the already confused left hand but could put back your complaint to square one and have to wait another 8 weeks. I would phone the number that you lodged your complaint with and tell them that the Manchester lot have phoned you asking for a questionnaire despite your complaint already being dealt with !! and see what they say. If they insist on a questionnaire I would get some form of assurance that it won't delay the proccess that is already going on
You would receive back ALL PPI paid + 8% standard interest on each (which won't be big amounts as the loans didn't run for that long) minus any rebates that you would have got at each consolidation

Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid
MBNA £3,600 Paid

Still wondering re the letter they sent me...with the questionaire...looked at it again..it briefly says thanks for your concerns re your ppi claim that has allready been logged nothing is mentioned about filling the attached questionaire in though.
Looked at my bank account online and noticed that the loanguard payment due out for this month has been canceled...could that be an indication that they are at the final stage of my claims ?Anyone got any ideas...thanks steve.0 -

Hi Steve, as soon as you complain about being mis sold PPI it is cancelled. I would not muddy the waters at this late stage by sending in a questionnaire. Wait to see if a cheque arrives without, I'm pretty sure it is all going through
If the Manchester lot contact you again make them aware of the situation and the fact that you don't want to mess things about now. Hang tight
