  • I think you can get them free if you are a get-around person at the GUm clinic.

I work for the NHS and I went to occupational health and got them free.
If I had words to make a day for you,
I'd sing you a morning golden and new.
I would make this day last for all time,
Give you a night deep with moonshine.

Watch that though - a friend of mine needed to get her results certified, and came clean about where she got her jabs (she went to a sexual health clinic because they were free). SOmehow from here, that info ended up on her perminent medical record, and when it later came to getting a mortgage and life assurance, she struggeled to get the life assurance part, and the fact she had them at a sexual health clinic was interpreted as her being in a 'risk taking behaviour' category.

It certainly cost her more then the jabs would have cost in the first place.

That's scandalous. People shouldn't be discouraged from taking responsibility for their sexual health like that. It is ridiculous to interpret attending a sexual health clinic as showing someone is "risk taking". The people who are risk taking are the ones who just hope things will be OK and never get near a GUM clinic.

It is definitely scandalous. That's why, unless you personally allow disclosure, sexual health clinic records are anonomous.

I had to have a Heb B jab for travelling abroad. My doctor provided this and several others for free.

Have you a university health centre that could do them for you?
