What is the closest local distillery to our Huntly shop?

• Knockdhu
• Glendronach
• Ardmore

I do need a little help..I thought Knockdhu but I think Glendronach is close also.

There's not a lot in it, between Knockdhu and Glendronach, according to Google Maps !

I'm going to go with Glendronach - fingers crossed !

(p.s. I should have said, I'm going with "as the crow flies" but who knows !)

I've tried to do aa route planner to find out the closest but the postcodes for the distilleries are coming up as incorrect so can't help I'm afraid.

I think the answer is :

Ardmore

Looking at the Single Malts Direct website under Ardmore it says that "we are based quite close to the Ardmore distillery". Also have done a quick reccy of google maps and this seems to bear it out. Happy to be proved wrong tho ;-)

I would agree with CeeandTeeBee as here are my calculations as best as I could work out after spending 40 minutes on Google Maps:

Khockdhu is 10.0 miles
Glendronach is 9.3 miles
Ardmore is 8.8 miles

using the shortest route options in Google.

but if they want it as the crow flies, all I can say is I am no crow.

Perhaps a local MSE'r can confirm these.

Hmm.... yes, but it also refers to Knockandhu as "a town a few miles from Huntly"

And the prize IS for "Glendronach".

I have emailed them to ask.
I think the answers are only required for legal reasons, something along the lines of to make it a 'skill' and not gambling. anyway will post then answer but I doubt i'll get a reply until Monday.
