MBNA offer for PPI

  • I guess I'll have to eagerly await the postman for the next few weeks then :)

I'll update this thread and let you know when I get the cheque :j
  • I received the cheque today and the total was £7220.43:j

It would seem that the "associated interest" spans the whole 9 years in total that I have had the card and is, in part, due to the horrible interest rate of 30ish%

I'm so grateful to this website for helping me to gain control of my finances and finally being able to say goodbye to MBNA for good

    Hi!

Congrats on your rather bumper-cheque, that's amazing!

Do you mind me asking how long this process has taken for you?

I sent off my PPI questionaire to MBNA on 27/02/12 and it showed up on Royal Mail as Delivered on the 28th. I know it's only been just over a week, so I'm not expecting miracles :rotfl:but a rough time frame would be lovely!

    Thanks :)
  • Hi daisy_jean

MBNA have been quite quick really. I sent the questionnaire on 10th February, received an acknowledgement on 23rd February, offer letter on 3rd March and received the cheque today.

    Hope this helps :)
