The answer is actually 2010.

It states in the text at the bottom, "Filming of John Carter began in the UK on January 4, 2010, and much of the movie was shot at Shepperton Studios in London and Longcross Studios in Chelburn."

Agree with DTID, the answer they are looking for is 2010. This being a Sun competition, you are not actually expected to display independent thought. Answer is a straight lift from the text above.
