Halifax one card

Hi, can someone tell me how long on average it takes for these to be sent out? It's just that i sent back my agreement form on the 23rd February and have heard nothing since. I'm just trying to gage the time length because I have taken out a loan to consolidate and have paid off nearly everything with it. I have two more cards to pay off, one Amex Mbna. My plan was to transfer the Amex to halifax then pay off the natwest with the remainder of the loan as i cannot transfer natwest to halifax(same group) but the amex due date is on 22nd of this month, so i'm hoping i won't have to pay this one off with the loan, then play the credit card shuffle with natwest, as i want to close most of them. Thanks

It took about 8 days to arrive the last time I got a card from Halifax.

On a side note, Natwest and Halifax are not part of the same group - Natwest is owned by RBS, Halifax is part of HBOS. So you should be able to do a balance transfer fine.
  • Why are they not the same group????
    They are

Thanks for this-for some reason i thought i'd read they were. Well if that's the case, I'll just hope the card shows it's face sometime next week. Oh dear just read post number 3:(

Natwest are part of RBS Group. Halifax are part of the HBOS group.

Royal Bank of Scotland and Bank of Scotland are two different entities.

They are definitely not the same group.

Royal Bank of Scotland and Halifax Bank of Scotland are two entirely separate entities.
