Macromedia (Adobe ??) help needed.

I've just got my laptop back after the hard disk was replaced. No problems apart from one thing. I use the following site : http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html to remove flash cookie's when switching between bookmaker sites ( I match bet ). However I can't load it on the repaired lappy - I get a I.E. pop-up message '' I.E. cannot open the internet site (named above) Operation aborted.

I thought it was because adobe wasn't installed, so I installed it. Site still wouldn't open. So I checked the programs in control panel to make sure adobe had installed properly - it has. But I still can't get macromedia to open. Any idea's please ?

that relates to Flash player, have you installed Flash and Shockwave yet since having it back?

http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer/ pick your OS (32 or 64 bit, and install both IE and non-IE fr that version)

I hadn't but I have now (from your links) but still no joy. I'll leave it tonight and try again tomorrow.
