Twitter and Facebook linking

I have a business page on Facebook and thought it would be great to create a twitter account and post. I do not have a personal profile.
I have been through the tutorials on both sites numerous times, logged out, in, connected and disconnected the apps from each other, but try as I might, I cannot get the twitter posts to show on my Facebook site.
I have contacted twitter who say it should work and it's probably a facebook issue. Facebook are even less helpful. I have googled it and got nowhere, every tutorial I find says to do the same things and it just doesn't work when I do it.
I am by no means a novice at computers, but I just can't figure this out at all. I've been trying on and off for months to sort this out and it's just really frustrating that something so simple is just beating me.
