just visited uswitch site for gas and elec what is best kwh used or how much you pay monthly

I think the kwh gives a more accurate result - if you know how much you use.Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Always use kWh.
Using DD amounts mean that the sites have to make (different) assumptions about what your actual consumption is.No free lunch, and no free laptop
