A very small success from Lloyds credit card, totalling £30
BUT a tremedous success from Halifax regarding hubster's credit card! Three weeks ago we submitted a claim dating back to his credit card which we took out in 2004. Today received an offer of nearly £7,000, which is more than double what we hoped we would have been offered, which more than makes up for the Lloyds disappointment! I still have a complaint outstanding with RBS for my Mint card, but am not holding out any success with this, as its pre-dates 2000.
So in total, we have now has successes with five complaints, totalling a massive £25,000 awarded in compensation payments, plus savings from our First Plus loan, totalling another £12,000, so a massive £37,000!! We will be debt-free by the end of this year, which is something we had only dreamt about three months ago!
And its all thanks to this website and all the amazing support and advice - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
