Mobile phone and IVA

I have continued with a small £12 a month phone contract and would anyone have any idea if i upgraded would the phone company, Vodaphone, do a credit check if so would i loose the contract automatically.

If i just continue with the contract will this help rebuild my credit history post IVA.

Been with vodafone 8 years, and throughout my IVA and had upgrade every one to two years. No new credit checks and have been reporting nice green ticks all the way though :-)
