Wednesday, i thought i would check my credit rating out of interest do i read through this site and was reccommended Equifax. Signing up and Verified By Visa popped up, asking for card details INCLDING ATM PIN!? ...being stupid i gave them this. Nothing happened, rang Equifax and they said a number of people have rang about the same thing and i should ring my bank to cancel my card!
No money was taken out my account but this was very scary for me.
Logging into my Barclays Online account and guess what just popped up!!

You almost certainly have a trojan.
It will probably try to get information from you at various times.
You need to do a virus/trojan sweep ASAP.

Virus on your machine. Go to the computing forum and there is info there about spyware and virus checks.
And yes you were stupid but hopefully you posting here will help others
