Using BT Hub Phone with DECT base station (also BT branded)

Hi folks,
I was asked by someone who's leaving BT whether they can still use their BT Hub phone (the black one).
They currently have two cordless DECT BT handsets & separate base station for use in the house but the third BT Hub phone was very useful.
They are moving line rental and broadband to a new ISP so I was wondering whether it's possible to get the hub handset working with the DECT base station?
If not, would it be possible to keep the BT Hub (version 2) plugged in to the phone socket only, to provide connectivity to the hub handset?

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're asking. From what I understand you want to use the phones after switching? Perhaps you'll get more luck if you rephrase the question.0

They have a black "hub phone" which works via the BT Hub.
Next week their new ISP's broadband activates.
They want to see whether they can still use the black "hub phone" without the BT Hub (i.e. use it via their existing cordless phone base station, also BT branded).0 -
My hub phone is an internet phone, with a different number to the landline and dect phones, so I wouldn't think it would work in a similar situation.0

Agree with mikey, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but if it is possible the way to do it will probably be buried somewhere in here http://www.filesaveas.com/jarviser/index.html0
