R B of S ppi please help

After sending the relevant forms to R B of S along with a copy of my loan agreement, they returned everything and said that I would also have to supply account number , sort code and dates for the loan. I had to write away for this and it arrived this morning. I also received details of three other loans I had with R B of S previous to the one I am claiming for. The letter states account numbers, sort codes and dates for these loans, but also says that R B of S do not keep details of the amounts of the loans or PPI before 1996! Then why do they have all the other details and not the amounts? Doesnt make sense to me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep they are a real pain, my gripe is slightly different to yours.
I sent off for a SAR only for them to keep moving the goal posts if I sent one thing they would then say they wanted something else and when I finally got my info they cant find my personal documents so I sent an email off to the CEO in disgust who passed it on to one person who they told me its out of his field to be then passed on to another person who is now looking into it..........waste of space the lot of them (rant over hahaha).

Details get phased destroyed over time. Sometimes documents dont get destroyed that should.

I've been told by RBS to write to them to request details of all loans and credit cards i've had with them, but no idea what to write, can I ask if you used a template on here to do that or did you just write your own letter?
Thanks to all those who post the comps :D
