Well given that even the Focus's interior is a mass of cheap tatty plastic inside these days, I suspect that getting a small car with a "nice" interior for non-stupid money is a forlorn hope.
I don't really see the point in something that pretends it's something else anyway. A cheap little city car made out of the cheapest components available is what it is, dress it up and it's just mutton dressed as lamb. Strikes me as vanity -- if you want a decent car, buy a decent car, not a little tin sh*tbox.0 -
Acceleration between 40 and 80 will leave most 1.6 petrol and 1.8 diesels standing - particularly good fun outpacing one of those Mercedes sprinter vans.
When you compare power to weight ratios, you'll probably find the IQ3 has DOUBLE that of a Sprinter. Our work vans are 313CDI's, with a 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine, they have less than 130 horsepower and weigh 2.5 tonnes unloaded. The acceleration is dismal, especially when fully loaded (3.5 tonnes), 40-80 acceleration does not exist as they are limited to 55mph.0 -
If you want comfort and style in a small car the only real option is an Aston Martin Cygnet. They will even trim them for you so that it matches your DB9!
