Hi I currently have a Radeon x300SE (0x5B60)
Internal DAC 400mhz
Memory size 128mb
and want to upgrade as this is the one I got with my pc and want to improve to play newer games even tho this plays most games on reasonable settings.
My PC Specs are
Pentium 4 3.00Ghz
2.50GB DDR Pc3200 Ram Recently Upgraded
If any other info is needed then feel free to ask.
I have roughly £100 to spend could you guys recommend me the best quality graphics I could get for that sort of money.
Thankyou.

If PCI-E, one of these 7600GTs would do nicely.
Benchmark comparison charts.
I think you need a minimum of 350W power supply (PSU). G0 -
You can try https://www.scan.co.uk they have some graphics cards on Today onlyKind Regards

Look on various sites at cards in your budget. Then go here to compare them

Also look at this article for their recommendations in various price brackets.

In the £100 bracket they like the 7600GT (as mentioned earlier) or the Radeon 1650XT
Do you need an AGP card or PCI-E?
Also what OS are you running? If you're on Vista, or planning to upgrade soon, I'd hold off until more DX10 cards are available. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Ive just bought the bfg 7600gt oc card from http://overclockers.co.uk (£91in vat + p&p) and it is amazing. using aquamark I scored a total of 74,000 (cpu scoring approx 10-12,000 of that)
Have only played on my call of duty 2 (at highest graphics settings) and have had no lag problems at allSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -

DX10 cards won't be fully utilised for ages and if you can get one for £100 then by the time DX10 is being used the card will be past it.0 -
