Ever wanted to go to a festival or concert only for the tickets to sell out within a matter of minutes leaving it almost impossible to get access?! Strangely though the tickets always appear on secondary websites almost immediately at a much higher inflated price!

Channel 4 Dispatches aired a programme investigating this and revealed how event promoters are joining forces with secondary ticket sites and allocating thousands of tickets to sites such as viagogo and seatwave before the public even have a chance at buying them! Viagogo were allocated 9000 Coldplay tickets before anyone else even had a chance of buying them..they then re-sold these tickets at ridiculously inflated prices on their site!

This type of ticket re-selling is unfair to genuine fans and festival lovers who may miss out on such events due to greedy companies and ticket touts!
