We have received a parking charge this morning at the Church Farm CarPark in Warrington, it took a pic of our car registration on the way in and on the way out of the carpark, it states we were 38 mins over the 90 mins, it states £70 fine or £50 if we pay within 14 days, have been told by several people not to pay but a bit aprehensive.... pls help

They're right, just ignore everything. Eventually after several seemingly ever more threatening letters they'll give up.

First take the place/time details out of your post; we don't need them to advise you that:

1. Under no circumstances write to or even acknowledge the scammers;
2. Ignore each and every letter you will receive from them and their fellow-scammers- their demand is unenforceable in law so all their threats are totally empty! No court, no CCJ, no bailiffs, no credit marks, nothing.
3. Wait for them to decide you are not silly enough to be conned by their scam, and they give up and disappear for ever.

Yep, see my signature as you are just one click away from the main forum index. The sticky info thread with letters and Watchdog clip is at the top.

You MUST ignore ECP and their predictable letters, it's not scary, just play 'PPC snap' with each matching threatogram that is the same as our pictures.

I ignored a fake PCN from them 4 years ago, nothing happens except letters as their modus operandi for 'chasing' a single fake PCN does not include Court.
