Noisy Gas Boiler

I have an ideal classic gas boiler. Just lately when I have my heating on the boiler is making strange noises and also gets very hot. I am a bit nervous when I have my radiators on now as it's gas !

Kettling? When was it last serviced?

As well as the servicing which has already been suggested you should consider whether system inhibitor is present at the recommended concentration.

Servicing and inhibitor wont help as kettling is caused by low or restricted flow i.e. water within heating coil is getting to hot and in containment, but OP hasnt stated if it is kettling?
It could be something completely different without a hint as to what and where the noise is?

I have the same boiler, most common fault is the fan seizing up or getting noisy. This can sound like kettling.

Fernox do a boiler silencer gel that you can inject into a radiator.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
