So. I am off to the other side of the world in 6 weeks. I just want to check I have done everything I need.
Booked Flights
Booked Hotels
Applied for ETA visa online
Arranged Travel Insurance
That's all I need to do right? I know I will need to sort out money, I am going to change enough for a day or so, and I will open a Nationwide account soon, so I can withdraw money with debit card for free.
So to do:
Sort money
Copy all important documents and leave a copy at home
Anything obvious I'm forgetting?

I take it that I haven't forgotten anything important, as I hope if I had somebody would have pointed it out by now lol.0

dont forget your passport and suntan lotion0

you said about copying documents - but may i suggest that you scan them, and then send yourself an email containing the scans of your passport, tickets, travellers cheques, whatever else. Just another layer of security!0

ooh and wrt Scarlett's post - i wouldn't bother with buying suntan lotion here - get it over there, it is SO cheap, I seem to remember getting a whole litre of SPF30 for about A$12 (about £5 IIRC). Think it is subsidised by the government cos of the whacking great hole in the ozone layer they have...0

All very good suggestions. Many thanks.0
