Anyone had a call from Cancer Research

Hubby took a call from Cancer Research yesterday, they wanted to speak to me.
Hubby told them I wasn't here and they just put the phone down on him.........
If they ring back and it turns out to be a 'hard-sell' call for a donation, they'll not be getting any more money off me ! There are so many good causes I will be choosing another charity.

I got a call from them. They just want to send a small collecting box for you to drop loose change into and send off when it is either full, or at the end of the year.
I have said yes, because dropping a few coppers in here and there won't break the budget, involves no effort, and having received the benefit of cancer research and treatment, don't mind such a low key method of fundraising (I was ready to say no to the selling raffle tickets/pushing collection envelopes through doors).0 -
Had the call back today. They wanted £8 a month off me.
Very nice guy but I said no.0
