Canon camera service

A few weeks ago my camera (Canon A70) developed a fault. I checked their website and found that this was a known fault, and that they had agreed to repair cameras with this fault free of charge, even if they were not under guarantee (mine was over 3 years old).
All I had to do was send the camera to their agents, a firm called AJ Johnstone & co. Ltd. of Glasgow. They told me that the repair would take about three weeks.
After a little less than three weeks, I received a brand new A520 camera as a replacement for mine. This is a higher spec than my own camera, so I was rather pleased.:j
This company didn't just give five-star service - they showed that they are also five-star MSE's - they nicked the batteries that are normally supplied with the cameras!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
