Has anyone in Scotland managed to get any of TPO? I can't find them anywhere and just wondered if it was a South of the border thing.

I got one in Ruth£rgl£n and 6 in Maryhi11. They were mixed in with the regular Quality Street stocks which seem to be on display in 4 or 5 different places in every store so you may have to do some wandering and look in obscure aisles rather than just confectionery and seasonal.

There were loads of purple bars in R£nfr£w and Sh£ttl£ston when I left those stores but no TPO boxes.

I've yet to see a single TCO or block of cheese anywhere though

Either of these would be good if you're just printing MOC's.

However, I would defenitely go for the Epson one as it has three seperate ink cartridges for colour comapred to the Canon which has just the one. You could end up wasting a lot of ink otherwise. My current printer is an Epson SX400 which I have had for over three years now with no problems:T

  • I absolutely cannot resist a glitch or a bargain but it does mean that sometimes I have things 'in stock' that I don't really use or need.

My friends either live too far away to share things with or are quite comfortably off so would think me most peculiar if I suddenly turned up on their doorstep with a packet of Flash wipes or some Oral-B toothpaste.

I have been looking around for someone to share my bargains with and I have found a charity local to me that helps victims of domestic abuse. They have office premises and also two safe houses nearby which give refuge to ladies and their children who have fled from a horrible home with only the clothes on their back. I personally don't know anyone who has been in that position and I simply can't imagine how awful it must be for them.

Yesterday I dropped off a couple of large bags at their office full of Temptations biscuits, mini eggs, cleaning materials, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and so on and they were so grateful. Anything that they are given saves their precious resources for other things and really makes a difference.

Pretty much all the glitches and bargains we get from T are the sort of thing that would help stock the safe houses and I shall be regularly popping in there from now on when I have items that are surplus to my own requirements.

Just thought I would mention it as I know what kind and generous souls you all are and with a staggering 1 in 4 women experiencing domestic violence during their lifetime there is likely to be a similar charity to this near everyone and it would be a great way of sharing our good fortune and stash for those of us who don't really have family to help.
