    morning lovelies....:)

HC and Westie - hope you enjoyed your jollies...bet HC is resting from the jetlag :rotfl::rotfl:

hope everyone is well and happy....big hugs to those who arent :)

My DD2 has been sick for the last 3 days...but touch wood, since 8.30am shes not been sick once...so hopefully shes on the mend and will start eating again...bless her, shes not even 2 yet and its upset her each time shes vomited, especially as she wont eat so it probably hurts more too.....and DD1 is not impressed with the situation - she got very annoyed last night at having to get out of the bath after DD2 had been sick in it!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Got 6 boxes of nappies this morning - tested it first with 2 boxes to make sure it was still working...then went back for more.....and whilst doing the rest of my shopping I stopped every pregnant lady and all the mums with young kids and told them too......after I'd paid, I noticed several trolleys at the checkouts full to the brim with Pampers :rotfl::rotfl:

Also popped back to Smiths...wouldve been rude not too as its so close to Ts....and got a few more cards and giftcards.....this has got to be one o the best glitches ever imo...am hoping for one last attempt at the weeken as I think the 'offer' ends on Mothers Day :(
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

    Good afternoon lovelies :hello:

Didn't get to bed til 5am  and been up since 10am with an upset stomach and agonising cramps, don't worry I'll spare you the details! :o:o My sister left for America at 6am and I've got a continuous feed of pics from the airport and aeroplane on all my cousin's facebook feeds  My Mum's having an absolutely horrendous time staying at my Grandparents and I'm stuck here with my ignorant pig of a Father feeling totally alone and lost. Sorry to keep on, I should just quit moaning and get on with it, I feel like such a failure :(

Hope everyone's well and for those that aren't I come bearing hugs! :Axxx

Just checked and :o Oops , I thought it was any Honey shreddies/shredded wheat. I gotta start reading them properly :o

Ohhhh I thought I'd missed something! Ah well don't worry about it this time, we all make mistakes :)
Fudge-Cake, sorry you had such a grotty experience with the on-line shop and using coupons - I think it can be like CS in-store - varies hugely from store to store. I checked again recently in-store, and they do take them. Manager showed me what tabs the driver needs to press on his hand-held recorder, you know the one where you have to sign? There is a specific tab for coupons. All stores should use it, as a minimum for jtd if nothing else. Mine will also take conditional spend till-spits and off-set - but only if I haven't used an on-line conditional spend code.

But your word of warning is wise - as always, worth checking with your own store what their "own" procedure is.

If you need to use up on-line credit and don't want to pay delivery, EdinDevon posted a code for free click and collect on the dicounts board which may help.

That's really good advice RootedNomad, hopefully I'm just unlucky with my store's policy! And thank you very much for suggesting click and collect, I didn't even think of that! Doh!

Have you seen the new cake decorating magazine? Issue 1 99p with cutters, non-toxic dust and cake stand. My DH saw them yesterday and got one for me, I instantly subscribed last night

:TAww yeah thanks emmlouie. I saw Bookworm's (?) recommendation for it yesterday and I checked in my A's and T's but none in there yet, will be keeping my eye out as I missed the last baking magazine for 99p everyone was raving about! :p Which also reminds me, thank you to Bookworm for mentioning it on here, whilst browsing the magazine section I came across about 8 full and 2 half full boxes of Big purple bars on a stand in my local!!!:o Can't believe I didn't see them before, what an amateur I am! :o:o

right, i have my friends coming around in half hour for a while so i best go and actually put clothes on/get ready/tidy up/get Leo-Lion dressed.

Gonna see if they wanna go along the beaches so leo can go for a run around :D start getting rid of some of his belly.

    Quick question before i go

First time mum so im learning as i go, especially when i'm the first of my friends to have a baby and no babies in family...

i think the answer is yes but want to double check myself.
If i take Leo on beach (hes 15ish months) is it okay for me to take his trousers and nappy off and let him run around with just a top and shoes on? or will people look at me like i'm dirt?

    TIA

finally said goodbye to my car today

    was very sad

    had her since Dec 2001

    she was a reliable friend

    value £1000

    cost of repairs £1500

had to bite the bullet and let her go
So sad, my poor car went a while back - got £80 scrap for her.
The recovery driver got me to drive it up the ramp onto the truck (very steep). She was only a little Peruda Nippa and I could hardly get her up there in 1st gear!
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:
