Champix is the name and I wouldn't recommend it. The ex went on Champix in 2010 and shortly afterwards ended up off work with stress/anxiety/depression. He wasn't perfect before then but I do think they made him worse. He got a mean temper on him and became closed off from the world.
I'd try patches/lozenges/gum or cold turkey before I'd try the pills.
Oh thats the one, i only did the first two week course before forgetting to turn up for next appointment,
i quit with patches and inhalator when i was 19ish and did it straight away with no effort and ever since i started again find it soo much harder.
I think though that i need to quit even if its just so i can start tucking a bit away each week for when LO is older. His needs always come before i buy cigarettes but they are getting stupidly expensive the ones i smoke are JPS blue one of cheapest and last year ish they were £4.20 now £5.70, just getting stupid!
Yeah maybe i'll quit and keep myself busy walkign around tescos lookig for bargains haha
right best go LO is bellowing for me lol have a good day all
P.s sorry for talking so much this morning dont know why im so hyper today :S

o0o0o I dunno if i like that idea

I will definitely be quiting soon i just cant do it whilst my son is waking me up several times a night and being a general nightmare sulking hitting me breaking things etc. need something to calm me down lol.
Has anyone gone on that quit smoking pill they now have?
I went on it a few months ago and its sooo good (yes i know i still smoke)
i missed my follow up appointment and started again but i couldnt believe it, you just smoke like normal until day 7-15 or something and after a while it just makes you feel sick
i went from smoking 20 a day to about 4 a day without even realising, just totally didnt want one!
Some nasty side effects though
Suicidal thoughts
Suicide
(rare)
Kidney failure or something like that
diabetes
etc etc etc
a lot of talk about it on internet in america but i think a lot of them just do anything to be able to take somebody to court and sue
Sod the pills. Go to WHSmiths (I assume you have a giftcard
) and buy Allen Carrs book "easy way to stop smoking". Has better reviews than anything on the internet and his success rate is probably the best out there. 60 a day to nothing for me...no side effects, no cravings, no nothing.

Rises early, frequently...
Get in the que, and on your bike
You do realise that whoever becomes Westies new travel partner has to pay their own way.
She really peed me off this morning at 4am and it resulted in an argument....
I got up to go to the bog and Westie announces that she's off out with her camera. Now who here would go wandering around a huge park at 4am that has no street lighting?
No who here would do that with there headphones in?
And who here would do it carrying £3,000 worth of photography equipment? Especially if you were 5' 11" and built like a rake?0 -
10p for chocolate, that seems so expensive.
I'll see today.
There was one lonely pack by the SS tills this morning at half 7 so I may have rescued it.
Sorry!
ETA: Loads of cheese though
SEL £1. ...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I keep hearing about that book but never tried it. I had a choice between smoking and having an asthma attack or quitting and maybe living. I took a really bad chest infection which resulted in me having to rush to the docs and then go to A&E the same night. Not touched one since and never felt tempted.
So to sum up, Allen Carr good, chest infection bad!0 -

Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping !!0
