  • What a bizarre shop in a T's that seems to be in a pricing world all of its own when it comes to Xmas stock! Saw a freezer full of Xmas turkey joints, no self scanner so took to til to check price and they were £5! gutted as was gonna go back and buy about ten of them!

Got dtd on 3 packs of the sunscreen, a good chunk off the ds game I have been considering getting dd for a while. Cost me £5.50 instead of £12.99. Know u should have picked up a couple more and got it for free but not brave enough!

Also found a lone bag of Xmas mini soap, so thought that'd be 1p but no, £3! did people really pay that for them! Was so trying not to draw attention to the dtd and in a rush to pick up dd from play school that I decided to return to my more local store. Was worrying that it would scan there at 1p and I've have a problem with cs but it scanned at £3! So does that mean some of the Xmas stock has gone back up?? V odd!!!

I forgot to say that I found a good OOD SEL this morning. Age perfect day cream (think it was L'oreal, it was in a white square box). for Mature skin. Was on offer until yesterday and they've forgotton to take the SEL down..oops. It was £10 ish, reduced half price to £5.50 approx. So it would go through the til at the full price and you could get DTD back, making it free.
    hope someone can use it.
    Tiger

Suddenly had a yearning for the old DTD, think its because the weather is nice and it was like this this time last year when we were doing it. I remember sitting on the back door step with a "free" bottle of wine, discussing our next shop with my DH and brother;)and him saying he'd had to start giving away some of his lnyx shower gel stash because he just had too much, and how he'd taken to using wrinkle cream and eye cream because it gave such a good return:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:well that was his excuse;)He came round every night for weeks with his friend because they didnt have a printer. One night I remember having about 9 of us all in my dining room trying to work out the best shop over "The spreadsheet" Those were the days:T
