I've just had another sticker redeemed - £25 LTS. I only "won" it last Friday so it's worth checking your account. I now have redeemed:

    £10 LTS
    £15 LTS
    £25 LTS
    £25 RLD
    Goodie Bag

Nikki, I know that you won a few recently so check to see if they've changed to redeemed.

Waiting for them to find an excuse not to give me my £50 one

I cant find any free printers on freecycle freegle or friday ad grrrr
dont get any money unil next tuesday going to have to go buy one me thinks :)
do they come with ink when you buy them new?

Most printers, if not all, come with small ink cartridges. Make sure you shop around before buying one. Also, research the cost of replacement inks because quite often they cost almost as much as the cheaper printers.

little question. Has anyone here had to put 2 kids with a 6 year age gap in the same bedroom. Please tell me that it wasn't a disaster.

My 10yr old and 2yr old girls share and love it. They have bunk beds but share the bottom bunk. Dreading the time when we move the youngest girl in with the baby boy

sending you hugs and thinking of you.

go all out at the appeal, people do win them.
re-above are you under the doctor for the said above if you are go and see him explain about the school situation and see if he will write you a letter regarding you're health and how it will help you and ds 'live life' to a better 'quality',if you win the appeal.
do you have family/friends nearer to the school you want than the one you got given? enhance this and how you need help/support from them and maybe get them to write letters.
re what you're son has been through (I know this sounds awful, but I hope you get where I'm coming from :o) has his schooling been affected? ask his teacher if they would be willing to write a letter outlining how he would benifit from going to a school with all his friends and having there support and how he deserves it.
write a letter from the heart and say how much it means to you're son and how you feel it will effect him/his schooling if he goes to a school without his friends and their support.
and how he deserves the best possible 'start' in life after all he's been through and you are 'scared' his schooling will be effected if he doesn't have his 'sup[port' group around him at school.
and any other details that you can 'pull' on.
photo copy everything you 'get' send one of each in with you're appeal form (so that they can read it all before you go to you're appeal and keep a copy for yourself and take it with you (just incase!)

I'm so sorry for what you are both going through, and so hope I've come 'across' ok :o take what you can from a horrid situation and turn it/use it to you're son's advantage.

remember the appeal panel are human and most proberly have children of their own,and will see a genuine case 'when they see one'.

Take all you're strengh and 'fight' it,you sound like a lovely mum :)

    all the best.

What a lovely post. Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a lovely helpful reply.

I have written a letter from the heart regarding the appeal.
DS's headteacher has written a letter of support
Our GP has written a letter of support
I have enclosed the latest letter I received from Children's Services following another incident of domestic abuse by my stbx in front of the children.
I have also enclosed a copy of the CAF that was written to outline everything that has happened so far and how it has affected my DS.

I have copied everything and have just personally handed all the paperwork in at the council offices to the appeals officer. The appeals won't be heard until mid May to the beginning of June, so I've just got to hang on now.

Thanks again. I never cease to be touched by how lovely my MSE friends are. xx

Chelseagirl just to let you know I had an appeal for my DS's school and won too. I had letters from everyone, remember they are human and do listen although I confess to bursting into tears at the appeal, which may have helped:o I had the gp letter(Amongst others) as my DS had asthma, excema you name it, he had it and I had just lost my dad and I was just honest with them and said it would stress him out too much.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
