My boys 10 and 3 share a room. They have triple bunk beds, and although they have a bed each, always share. Not only that my girl 6 (who has her own room) quite often bunks in with them:rotfl:. Then hubby has 2 other boys, they stay at weekends, we have sleeping bags lined up in a row, and if that's not bad enough....... Nephew likes to stay when the "boys" stay:eek::eek::eek::eek:. Oh and baby boy is in with us in our room!!
Ours is a mad house, but it's just how we like it:D:D
We had a 3 bed house but the ex demanded that his kid from 1st marriage should have her own room for the 2 nights a week she was here so our boys should share. That's maybe not so bad if you agree with a room sitting empty most of the week but the middle room wasn't big enough for 2 cots plus changing table, wardrobe and chest of drawers (boys are far too young for bunks as the little one isn't even 1 yet!). His compromise - we move our king sized bed into the boys room and they have our room  End result, his kid kept her own room filled full of toys even though all it was needed for was sleeping in as she never spent any time in it. The boys would have been crammed into their room and no room for any toys.
I'm in really foul form today. Typically the boys are ill again 2 days after hearing his other kid with a nasty barking cough. Had about 3 hours unbroken sleep. What gets my goat is he had the nerve to cancel an access visit because his kid wasn't well saying he knew I didn't like the boys being deliberately exposed when her mother should have known better. He must have had something better on that day as he's never cancelled before or since. It's me who has to look after them all week and who ends up getting ill and who would have to take time off work when they're sick - yes me. He never took time off for his other kid so why start now eh?
And to top it off, I had a DD set up with the gas supplier only to now find out to find out it's about £100/month too little  I've no idea how but my gas is £150/month  Feel like cryingI owe them a further £330 to cover the last 3 months

Bensonsmum I am so pleased to hear the news, had been hoping something would get sorted since I ready your post earlier.
We all need time to do things that we want to do and that's even more important when you are a carer whether for family, friends or as a job. It is a very demanding role and with everything you have gone through with your FIL lately you must have been distraught to receive that call.
Have a lovely time with your mum.0 -
4p that bread looks lovely!
Well. Day 2 of house from hell. Floorboards have been up, new radiators are being fitted to the walls but the pipework isnt being started until tomorrow. But I am that much closer to having proper heating again!
I had to get out of the mad mess today, so took myself off to T's. Looked for some more cheese but there was none. As i walked out of the cheese aisle, i bumped into a friend from work. We had a gasbag then off goes QoC to the chocolate aisle, to find 2 boxes of TCO staring at me!!!! I grabbed some (10) , then decided to grab some for my friend so had to run around trying to find her, meanwhile grabbing random other stuff to put in my trolley on top of the TCO's to hide them up a bit. She didnt believe me when i told her they were 1p, but she phoned me after to say how pleased and surprised she was :-D)
I then took some round to my parents house for them to share, some to a friends and am left with 1 each for me and misery guts. I didnt want to be greedy, especially as I know that a fellow Eliter has been so helpful in her efforts for me :A Its nice to know that they are out there.
Took them through SS, and what do I find? A reciept just waiting to fall into my bag. Rushed through SS, got out, checked the wombled reciept, its a 38 pointer, and I am just about to put it through price check.
So, all in all, a pretty successful couple of trips to T's when you count my cheese mish last night :j
